Tuning Fork Sound Therapy
Tuning fork sound therapy uses gentle vibration and pure tones applied on or near the body to support deep relaxation and energetic balance. The sound waves and subtle vibration can help the nervous system shift out of “stress mode” and into a calmer, more regulated state. Many clients describe the experience as deeply calming, grounding, peaceful, or clarifying — as if their body and mind finally have permission to exhale.
Tuning forks may be placed near the ears, held over energy centers, or very lightly placed on specific points of the body (with your consent). The vibrations are subtle, noninvasive, and easily adjusted to your comfort level.
What a session may include
A typical session may involve:
-
a brief check-in and intention setting
-
gentle breathwork or grounding to settle into the body
-
application of tuning forks on or near the body or ears
-
periods of quiet rest, stillness, and integration
-
brief reflection about what you noticed or experienced
Some people feel calm and deeply relaxed; others feel lighter, clearer, or more connected to themselves. There is no “right” way to experience sound work — your nervous system responds in the way it most needs.
A psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive appointment where we look at the full picture of what you’re experiencing—not just symptoms in isolation.
-
discuss your current concerns and goals
-
review your mental health and medical history
-
talk about past treatments and what has or hasn’t helped
-
review current medications and supplements
-
consider contributing factors such as sleep, stress, trauma, hormones, lifestyle, and nervous-system health responds in the way it most needs.

You remain:
-
fully clothed
-
