Medication-Assisted Weight Loss
Support for sustainable, compassionate weight loss — without shame
Medication-assisted weight loss combines evidence-based medications with education, mindset work, and lifestyle support to help your body work with you instead of against you. My focus is not on perfection or willpower, but on understanding metabolism, hormones, nervous-system responses, and the real-world barriers people face when trying to make changes.
This program is patient-centered, collaborative, and grounded in safety first.

My approach
What medication-assisted weight loss is
Medication-assisted weight loss may include:
-
a comprehensive medical evaluation
-
review of your health history and current medications
-
discussion of goals, challenges, and past experiences
-
consideration of FDA-approved or compounded options when appropriate
-
ongoing monitoring and support
Medications are one tool, not the whole plan. We also look at sleep, stress, movement, mood, and mindset — because all of these affect appetite signals, cravings, and weight regulation.
Nutrition, movement, and lifestyle support
-
Alongside medication, we may explore:
-
simple, sustainable nutrition strategies
-
nervous-system informed stress management
-
gentle movement plans appropriate for your body
-
sleep optimization
-
mindset work for emotional or stress eating
-
No extreme dieting, no punishment, no “all-or-nothing” plans.
Safety considerations
-
We will not prescribe weight-loss medication if contraindicated due to:
-
pregnancy or breastfeeding
-
pancreatitis history (depending on medication)
-
personal/family history of certain endocrine tumors
-
severe untreated gallbladder disease
-
certain gastrointestinal conditions
-
allergies to medication ingredients
-
We will review your individual medical history carefully and discuss risks and benefits before starting any treatment.
Session length expectations
-
Initial appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes, though they may not require the full time depending on complexity and your goals
-
Follow-up appointments typically range from 20–30 minutes
Important clarification

guidance from a medical provider who considers mindset + nervous system + biology together
